The project aimed to optimize an existing rest house layout in Oman, facing the challenge of space inefficiency. The existing design was not maximizing the available area, resulting in a cramped lounge and limited bedrooms. The client's primary requirement was to enhance the lounge area to enjoy an expansive view of the pool while also adding an extra bedroom. To tackle these issues, the project employed a professional interior designer who meticulously reworked the layout based on the client's needs. The solution included an extended lounge area with a glass facade overlooking the pool, a redesigned bedroom setup that converted one bedroom into two, an addition of a small, practical pantry, and improved coordination around the pool area for enhanced aesthetics and functionality. The redesign project successfully expanded the lounge to a 10 by 5 meter space, providing a luxury view and additional comfort. Two bedrooms were introduced without compromising the rest of the layout, and the kitchen area was efficiently adjusted to enhance usability. This redesign not only addressed the client's challenges but also elevated the overall utility and aesthetic appeal of the rest house.
