if you're actually running AI and your code can actually be developed with AI, which is a big thing to say, to be honest, because not every old product can be developed with AI. It depends a lot on how your infrastructure runs, how your code is built, etc. But if you can, you forget about the language that your platform is built in, because AI can write in any language. You forget about all those details and you care more about what defines your culture as a company.
Because in essence, you want to find an engineer who fits your company less in the technical side and more in how you work and what you value. So I would put a lot of effort on what your process looks like for deciding what to build. What type of people fit in your company? Are you like a nine to nine, seven days a week type of company, or are you Monday to Friday, whatever? Are you expecting the engineers to solve every problem? Or are you more product based, meaning that everything has a PRD and you just execute? Or are you more into the "I want to take you to the meeting with the customer"? Because not every engineer can meet a customer. I would focus more on that and less on the technology that you use, because I would say that any good engineer should be able to, with AI, work on any platform.
