Platform Leader, Vincent Huguet, Malt CEO, Munich
Vincent stressed the importance of companies taking a long term and intentional view with freelance being a priority across the company, with Procurement, HR, legal, and relevant parties working together. Rather than replacing full time employees, he talked about companies embracing a hybrid model with both full time and freelancers embedded across a companies talent strategy. He also took an entrepreneur’s view of talent platforms, viewing freelance talent platforms as a forcing function to stay aligned with today’s cutting edge technology. What I loved most about Vincent’s view, is that he has both founder mode, being one of the original founders in 2013, as well as being a seasoned entrepreneur, starting an online flower service in Mexico as early as 2003.
Client Leader, Marion Latreche, Senior Indirect Procurement Officer , Munich
Marion really leaned into the importance of building the right foundation, infrastructure, and policies to ensure compliance and security at scale.
Freelancer Martina Reiß, HR Consultant
Martina stressed the importance of freelancers as partners. Freelancers aren’t just there to “plug the hole” or “temporarily fill the gap”, they are a thought partner, strategy partner, and can stay working with you longer than most employees.
