Hi everyone,
This week Matthew wrote how private equity can rewrite the org chart for the agentic era, and Tony recapped his PEI keynote: winning companies don't swap talent for tokens. Here is where we would start this weekend.

AI SDR's aren't working (humans are)
According to Amir Reiter, Founder and Chairman of CloudTask, every go-to-market team got the same memo: blast a million emails, automate LinkedIn, plug in an AI SDR, and watch the pipeline fill.
This isn't working, and his read is blunt.
|
Whatever is easy stops working the moment everyone does it. What converts now is the phone, the five-minute callback, and the 60-second follow-up on an ad lead. |
Amir's playbook is the barbell.
• Pay one exceptional US leader 40 percent more than you planned, then build the team under them in Medellín or Bogotá, where $50K to $60K a year gets an A-player in the same time zone.
The key idea that stayed with us: every hire should include an agent.
A second theme that stuck with us: The CEOs who automated the whole revenue team aren't doing well. They expected pipeline. They're getting noise (and token costs).
|
"Whatever's easy doesn't work. It's easy to blast emails, it ends up not working. And automating LinkedIn, you get these unpersonal messages and you respond back and it's clearly a bot."

From the Community: Gigged.AI launches Mobilise
Gigged.AI launched Mobilise on Tuesday. It gives CIOs and CTOs one live map of every human skill and AI agent in their technology function. Then it turns a project brief into a costed, staffed team and pushes the plan into Jira. Where there is a gap, it fills it in the same session with one of 25,000+ vetted specialists or a ready-made agent.
It runs on a 40,000-skill ontology, so an engineer and an agent sit on the same map. An MCP server lets leaders query their own data from Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT. It is free for up to 50 profiles and available on the Microsoft Marketplace. Matthew sat in the January focus groups that shaped it, so we have watched this one take shape.
