We have watched EOR go from a compliance tool to a growth lever. Charlie McGinn, President of Safeguard Global, has seen the whole shift.
Here's a preview of what we learned.
1. EORs are now mature enough for companies to expand their talent base wherever they want.
They can open a new market, launch a new product, or drive cost savings, without setting up an entity first.
2. The hard part is now choosing one.
Buyers used to ask Charlie how EOR was even legal. Now they ask "why you versus them?" There are more than 80 EORs on Human Cloud, all trying to explain what makes them different.
3. Guess what might be the biggest unlock for the flexible workforce? EOR + sourcing partnerships.
Charlie's clients didn't want full recruiting. They wanted sourced, verified talent their own team could run, with the EOR handling compliance. We dug into exactly that on Thursday's community call (more below).
